Clubs Within the Club(All Clubs within the Club are open to both Members and Spouses)
Bridge Group: The UC Bridge Group meets every Monday evening in the Second Floor Lounge for weekly Bridge games. Novice players are encouraged to attend and participate; the group frequently hosts short lessons before the games begin.
UC Book Club:Our Book Club meets monthly for convivial discussion and a no-host bar. Book selections include a wide variety of books and authors discussed throughout the year.
Classic Movies:Participants enjoy film classics at this fun, convivial night out! Cocktails and small bites are available one hour before the 7:00 pm showtime. History of the film, stories about the actors, and film trivia enliven each month’s featured attraction.
Pitch Group:
This group of players meets on a monthly basis in the Members’ Grille for Pitch games. There is a waiting list to get into the Pitch Group, but everyone is welcome to participate in the Annual Pitch Tournament.
Toastmasters: Toastmasters is an outstanding way to meet fellow Members and spouses of Members while sharpening speaking abilities and leadership skills. The University Club chapter of Toastmasters meets every Thursday morning at 7:30am sharp. Guests may attend if accompanied by a Member.
UC Women's Events:Plans Monthly Luncheons for all UC women, their guests, and potential new Members. Also plans Cocktail Dinner Parties with After Dinner Speakers six times per year, and some additional off-property events such as wine country tours, special museum exhibits, and other cultural events.
